Natural Forces ;-)

It’s January, the time of year when severe weather often strikes. Whether it’s a terrible cold spell and blizzard or a ferocious heat wave complete with drought and fires, January brings weather extremes. It also brings….

…another quiz! Oh, come on now, how long did you really think it would be before I struck again, eh?? ;-)

Natural forces sometimes play a major role in a crime fiction story. And as a dedicated crime fiction fan, you know all about novels where nature takes over, don’t you? Or do you? Take this handy quiz and find out. Read each description and answer the question that follows it. Then check your score to see how well you have done. Don’t forget to go all the way to the end of the quiz to see which answers you got correct.

Ready? Check the barometric pressure to begin…if you dare! ;-)

  1. I can’t belive it. I got 100% and 2 were guesses.

  2. Great, it is always fun to do one of your quizzes, Margot. I managed to get 90 per cent, amazingly. I got Nevada Barr wrong as I have yet to read that series so had to guess.

    • Maxine – That’s very kind of you – thank you :-) . I’m glad you enjoy these quizzes and I am impressed with your score. It is hard to keep up with you brilliant people!

  3. It seems I always manage only 50 percent. But there fun to take. Looking forward to the next one.

    • Mason – I’m really glad you enjoy these quizzes. I must say I enjoy making them :-) . And there’s no possible way to read everything there is out there. It’s just humanly impossible I think.

  4. Margot: Thank you for making the quiz a little less demanding. I was happy when I got 70%.

  5. I LOVE your quizzes! Thanks for creating another one, Margot. As for stormy weather, the weather people have finally used the ‘s’ word for this Sunday. We’ll see. I’d actually like it if it happens.

Great quiz. I only got 70%, and one error was from a book I read, just didn’t remember the detail. Oh, well, it’s still fun.

    • Kathy – I’m so glad you enjoyed the quiz. I’ve done the same thing, too – read a book and simply not remembered details. It’s hard to remember all of the details of every book one reads.

  7. Just sneaked back here to take this test…failed again. I’ll never learn.

What's your view? I'd love to hear it.
