It’s always good to have a global perspective on our favourite fictional sleuths isn’t it? Here to help you do that today is…
…Yes! Another quiz! Now, stop that! Did I force you to click on this blog? I don’t think so
Sleuths come from all over the world. And as a dedicated crime fiction fan, you know all your favourite sleuths’ home towns, don’t you? Or do you? Take this handy quiz and find out. Match each description to the correct sleuth. At the end of the quiz, check your score to see how well you’ve done. Don’t forget to go all the way to the end of the quiz to see which answers you got correct.
Ready? Open the map to begin… if you dare!

Fail. Epic fail.
Alan – There is too much good stuff to read out there to keep track of all the sleuths.
Only two lucky guesses this time in my 100%.
Norman – Well done! I am most impressed
! And good guessing is an important skill.
80% – a couple were guesses.
Sarah – Nicely done! No harm at all in some guesswork…
Great quiz, Margot, thank you. I managed 100 per cent, so feel much better than last time
Maxine – I am quite impressed! Very well done! I’m so glad you enjoyed the quiz, ‘though I can’t say I’m surprised you did so well..
Never do well with the quiz, but always have fun trying (and learn from it).

Thoughts in Progress
Mason – I’m so glad you enjoy taking these little quizzes.
Margot: Since geography was one of my favourite classes in school I tend to remember where books are set. It was the first time I had only one guess and it was wrong so I got 90%. I still think it is alittle intimidating to need 70% to pass the quiz.
Bill – Well done!
– you got an excellent score. I’ve always liked geography too so I’m also one who remembers where characters are from and where books are set.
I got 90%, which is fine with me. But, wow these quizzes get the blood pressure going.
Kathy – That’s an excellent score! Well-done!
Oh dear, oh dear, only 50%. Have to brush up on my Australians and Canadians, clearly.
MarinaSofia – Let’s be honest; who has time to read all of the good sleuths out there? I know I don’t.
I’m not sure how I got 60% since I guessed on all but one.
Make that two non-guesses. I new the Miss Marple and the Joe Pickett ones for sure.
Snort! I meant “knew” not “new”
No worries, Pat. You should see how many times I’ve had to edit comments *sigh.*
Pat – I still stand by my comment; you guess better than I do.
Pat – Hey, that’s not bad at all. It means you’re a good guesser.
