  1. I love your crime fiction news breaks , Margot but as ever they are no good for my ever growing ‘to be read’ list. Thanks again for keeping us updated 🙂

  2. I am loving that hat. 😉

  3. Thank you so much for including Crime Fiction in German, Margot! You make a wonderful newsreader (and I second Raven’s comment). Herzlichen Dank!

  4. I love these Crime Fiction News Breaks, Margot. If you don’t mind, I’d like to add another event coming up in August 2016. The Writers’ Police Academy is a huge event where writers come from all over to work mocked homicide cases, tour the morgue and prison, and learn forensics in a real setting. This event has so much to offer. Here’s the link if anyone is interested in going: This event fills up fast.
    I can hardly wait!!!

    • Thanks for the kind words, Sue. I’m glad you enjoy what you find here. The Writers’ Police Academy sounds like quite an event! Thanks for including the link.

  5. Just love that hat, Margot! I’m eager to read the German Crime book but kinda scared about what it might do to the old TBR. I can only hope lots of them might not have been translated yet… 😉

    • Thank you, FictionFan 🙂 – And I know exactly what you mean about Crime Fiction in German. As eager as I am to read it (and I am), I’m also thinking about that TBR. I may have to squee-e-e-ze some room in for some additions.

  6. Oh, thank you so much for mentioning our Geneva Writers’ Conference! You are a star! I am busy with the preparations for that, as you can imagine, and wish I could welcome all of you at it!

    • A pleasure, Marina Sofia. I know it’ll be a fabulous event, and I can only imagine how many details there are to see to as you get ready. I wish I could be there, too, but I know it’ll be fantastic.

  7. Oh my, Margot of the Mounted. All you need is some red serge and a horse and you are ready to tackle Canadian crime.

  8. I am always amazed by your knowledge of the latest in mystery fiction! Fab hat, too – is that a Mountie hat?

  9. Always fun. THE KERRYTOWN BOOK FESTIVAL always features mystery panels and will take place the Sunday September 11, 2016 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Robin Agnew, owner of Aunt Agatha’s Mystery Bookstore spearheads the event.

  10. Loving the Mountie hat, but will avoid joke about your always getting your man. Great crimebreak as ever.

  11. Very interesting information there, Margot. Have you been spending a fortune on hats?

  12. I love the Crime Fiction New Breaks – fun and informative. Thanks so much for giving us the heads up. 🙂
