    Thanks for the update, Margot!

  3. A great update as always Margot.

  4. Always enjoy your news breaks, Margot. They keep me well informed. Thanks for sharing.

  5. As always so glad I dropped by! Was gobsmacked to hear that Donna Morrisey’s newest fiction is a mystery!! Donna, who is from Newfoundland but lives in my town of Halifax, Nova Scotia is known country-wide as a literary fiction writer. The novel What They Wanted is the second of a trilogy in which The Fortunate Brother is the third. So not only did she take a bold departure- she did it in a series! I haven’t read this one yet but the first two, and of all Donna’s books What They Wanted is my favorite. In fact it is one of my favorite books of all time. Guess I have to stop hiding my hesd in the sand and see what is going on in my own backyard. I can’t get The Globe & Mail here in Labrador and have been cocooning. Thanks for the wake-up!

    • And thank you, Jan, for the kind words and for the really interesting background on Donna Morrisey. I must read some of her work, there’s no doubt about that! You’ve made me really interested in seeing what her writing is like.

  6. Thanks Margot, always good to drop in and hear the latest. So much going on which is just wonderful, crime is alive and well in the most interesting places.

  7. Always good to catch up on the news!

  8. I always love your videos, Margot. I can’t say I’m into mystery fiction as much as to know all the people you mentioned here, but I love to hear about these awards and the meetings. I wish I could attend at least some…

What's your view? I'd love to hear it.
